Reviving the Book Club

[Hey sillyheads! I thought I'd intervene in this "Dorkys Is Away" fest to let you all know that I'm planning to start The Book Club again. I didn't get much participation the first and last time I tried it out, but I'd love to give it another shot. Are there any awesome books you've been dying to read? If so, comment below and I'll choose a couple contenders once I get back. Then we can vote on them next Monday! Ok, carry on now while I get back to this martini...mmm...]

  1. I would love to join a Book Club! I'll throw out these two books simply because they were books I asked for last xmas...and haven't gotten around to reading. Shame, I know. One might obviously have been more read than the other....but these are two on MY personal list of reads this fall/winter.

    The Bond

The Autobiography of Malcolm X (as told to Alex Haley)

  3. I've always wanted to be in a book club, so count me in! Shame we can't all meet up and have a proper discussion over tea and cake. And, er, martini for some.

Most of my favourite books, people probably won't be interested in because of age differences, but I really loved Before I Die by Jenny Downham. others probably won't.

Anyway, before I go yabbering on about great books, I'll wait until you come back and tell us more!

  4. I'm always up for reading new books, provided I can find it at the local library.

I don't always have humongous amounts of time to read, but I try very hard to read for at least 15-30 minutes every night before bed.

I'd be willing to try to keep up, but no guarantees!
