- I got home from work super late last night - at 11:15 PM. I was dead tired.
- Too bad it took me an hour to fall asleep because people in my building were playing/ singing along to yesterday's release of The Beatles: Rock Band. It's the second night in a row, by the way.
- Then this morning I was suddenly woken up by Toby's bloody barking...and the Con Ed (gas/electricity) guy at the door who'd come to read the meter.
- Ellen Degeneres is replacing Paula Abdul on American Idol. Love her, but can't see her as a judge. What say you? "Yay!" or "Oy vey?"
- My coworker just wrote about the new iPod Nano. So cute!
- Holy crap I'm tired. And today's another long one...
I'm going to go with the hybrid Oy yay! I hope your schedule calms down a bit!

I'm still not going to be watching the show. LOL.

ReplyDeleteI am super excited about the delightful Ellen DeGeneres replacing the car wreck that was Paula Abdul. I think Ellen's going to be a great judge. She's an entertainer. She may not be a singer, but then...neither is Simon Cowell!

ReplyDeleteYou poor thing having to listen to people who think they are The Beatles all night! Rock Band really gives people the misconception that they are really performing! LOL! I always have to tell Gabe to put down the guitar, it is not for real! He will not be letting his fans down if he stops playing and helps me with the chores! ;)
Pups are good for waking you up early. Bark wakes up every morning around 4am. I don't have to get up until 5.
I love Ellen, but I don't know how I feel about her being on American Idol. She is so great on her own show that it will be hard for her to beat that.
I'm not sure how relevant Ellen's comments will be, but it should be entertaining. She won't be kissing Simon...or will she????? LOL

I'm hoping your neighbors have cooled it down by this time. If not, it's time to have a chat with the leasing office. If they refuse to deal with it, take it up with the BBB. An email to those nice folks with a CC to an assortment of other really nifty peeps (the leasing office, the property manager and the human resources for the leasing company), things generally get done and FAST. Might also wanna got out the ol video camera and see if the mic is strong enough to pick up the music...
