I'm a SoCal girl that happens to be a lifelong diehard Angels fan. I generally hate the Dodgers. That whole cross-town rival thing. But I was actually a bit sad for them tonight.
But your Phillies played a damn good series and you should be proud.
I was fortunate to see Ryan Howard play in the minors at Reading. My brother and I both agreed way back then - this guys going to make the bigs and hes going to make it big too!
It really adds something to ... the game when you knew some of the players "back when they were coming up."
