It's sad news when any influential and server of the people passes on, regardless of their politics. They were committed to a cause, whether it be one of yours or not....and that in itself is noble. May his family have one another for support during this period because certainly others will be discussing how they DID NOT LIKE him. As if that matters one single iota at this moment.
I must admit I'm not a constant follower of politics, but for some reason I've always had a soft spot for the Kennedys.
I remember how upset I was when JFK Jr's plane went down and how much I cried when they announced that they didn't survive. Mind you, I never really followed them before that.
May he rest in peace and may his family remain strong during this time.
