Because the little fur monster can pee and poop on the pad, keep up with my speed walking (though I need to ease up on the little guy), "come," "sit" and just tackled laying "down" five minutes ago. That's ma boy!
Next lesson: no barking when the doorbell rings.

Too cute. Nope...I don't want one...not going there....gotta leave your blog now. Bye.
ReplyDeleteNow you know how I feel when you post videos of Wee One giggling up a storm!
ReplyDeleteAyyyy tu bebe!! Yo tengo un bebe tambien. Hi Toby!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, how cute! Those eyes just suck you in!
ReplyDeleteGrowing up so fast!
ReplyDeleteheidi, you want to set up a play date one of these weekends? I can't have a loner for a pet.
ReplyDeletechicagolady, yes, I find it's best not to look directly into them. That's why I use mirrors.
ladystyx, before I know it he won't want me walking him to the park, asking me to drop him off at the corner so people won't see me.
DR - I have the cure for you. I will post up a great video of him being HORRIBLE and crying and hitting. It's here somewhere...he does it everyday...
ReplyDeleteo m g SO CUTE! ...I don't know if they'll ever stop barking when they know someone's at the door ...my pug practically SCREAMS ..we tell him to go to the bathroom and he DOES but it just muffles the screaming. did I already say SO CUTE?!?!?! because omg SO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteWow, I am impressed! My guy knows "come" and his name. But he doesn't know "sit", not to mention "down".
ReplyDeleteYou have inspired to get tough!
How in the world did you get him to go on a pad?....Amazing...and really...how stinking cute is he anyway??>...
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness....that nose... those eyes... how cute is that face!!!
ReplyDeleteYes to the playdate! Let's discuss.
ReplyDeleteAww so cute... Let us know when he learns to flush and put the seat down when he is done ok?
ReplyDelete:)
aww cute doggie!! I love you DOGGIE! Maybe we can trade puppies one day.
ReplyDeletetooj, go for it. I'll probably think he still looks adorable throwing his little tantrums. But that's probably because I don't have to deal with those tantrums.
ReplyDeletelove maegan, hahaha! Your poor ears. This one YELPS out of nowhere and I jump out of my skin. And I HATE being startled. I tell him quiet the first time and then time out with the second bark as I put him in his crate for a couple minutes. I'm going to try this doorbell training soonish and see if it works.
sugarlens, but I think mine is older than yours (if you're talking about Pesto) so maybe it takes a little longer for younger pups? Oh what do I know. I just got my first dog ever a month ago. That Puppy Whisperer book has me thinking I'm an expert now. But let me know how the training goes!
noah's mommy, every time you see he's about to do his business carry him to the pad or if he starts on the floor, interrupt him and say "No!" and carry him to the pad. When he finishes on the pad reward profusely (I tend to go a little overboard with the "Good boy!!"). After a while they know to go to the pad. Accidents happen, but very rarely.
rebecca jo, apparently very :)
heidi, awesome, can't wait!
intense guy, hahaha! I wish! That would make my life way easier, but the little fool would probably fall right in and I would NOT want to clean up that mess.
anonymous, or maybe not. Evie is crazy/hates me, remember? But you can join in on our play date.
actually i like when they bark when the door bell rings. it gives me a head start to run away. lol
ReplyDeletejk, you're too much. You should come meet him! He's harmless I swear, he'll probably just lick you to death. And you can start getting over your fear with him.
ReplyDeleteAww! Adorable! Have you watched "it's me or the dog?" Really good dog training tips.
