Cotton Ball Clouds

Last night, the girls and I wandered around midtown after a thunderstorm and ended up by Bryant Park. Minutes later, the purple-pink-and-orange sky put on a show for us! Don't the clouds look like pretty little cotton balls? And the surrounding architecture looked just as breathtaking.

  3. Oh you've heard that too? Anonymous was talking to her mom while we were out there and she said that it means death. I just chalked it up to the fact that practically EVERYTHING in Latin culture signifies death. There's that and that "there's a rapist" no matter where you decide to go at night.

  7. Awesome pictures! I like how the light reflects off the windows of the buildings.

The Empire State building continues to inspire folks too. I want to go back up to the top someday. :)

  9. FYI - I JUST saw a video on CNN about how NYers were in awe of these clouds and people were thinking it was something really significant or scary. I didn't get that vibe from your post here, but it made me laugh as I thought about your post. I just had to say these types of clouds are really common where we're from....but if you don't get the type of weather we get on the reg, it makes sense that your city neighbors were all astounded. They're pretty interesting looking.
