I Know I've Been M.I.A....

But there's no way you could hate me after watching this video of my friend's baby :)

Now I need an "I want kids" cure stat! Anywho, more posts to come later - I promise!

  3. Gah, super cute, right?!

I had a silly grin on my face after she sent it to me and now I'm all "Babiiees!"

Her advice: Trust me enjoy your freedom. I want to send her back when I am up at 4 am feeding her.

Hmmm, she might have a point...

  4. well...she is a handful, but I love her. I won't lie, those people that tell you they love being a parent 24/7 are full of it. I like to keep it real. I love her, but I do miss being able to go to the store "real quick". NO MORE OF THAT

  5. Well all babies are handfuls apparently. In the past 2-3 weeks we've had a couple new babies visit the rest of the staff and we were all gooey puddles around them. They're so tiny and fragile you just want to eat them up- cute outfits and all!

  6. All in all, they're worth it. I guess. It's just so frustrating trying to figure out what will make them stop hurting and stop crying. That's the stuff of babies that will DRIVE YOU MAD. And sad. It's very disappointing to wake up to them crying and NOT be able to fix it....just holding them while they cry is heartbreaking. Nothing like you'll experience with a silly man. Trust me on this. (does this help the anti-"I want babies" thing?)

  9. What a cute baby! They sure can tug on your heartstrings when they're happy like that. It's when they've got colic and nothing helps, and you're pulling your hair out cause they won't stop crying, that you really question why you wanted one.

  10. This entry might help. It's funny but really kind of puts things in a bit of perspective....
