New Essie Love

Last night, I finally gave myself a mani/pedi and used Queen of Hearts from the Essie Loves Diamonds by Judith Ripka collection and I LOVE. It's just the perfect shade of red! Too bad I'm impatient, went to bed an hour later and woke up with marks on my nails. But no worries. If the results are going to look that good, I can definitely make room for a do-over.

  3. In the "you might like" line up, I got Wednesday, August 5, 2009 posting on "National Underwear Day" and Some Sexy Finds...

...and I suddenly realize I'm still not over having missed it.

    Nice sleeve(s) you have on...

  5. Try the Quick Dry Polish.. it's 5 bucks and it dries in 1-2 minutes. You will NOT have any marks.

  6. These are nice! I never paint my nails. No real reason. I just never get around to it. I'm going to take your oh so cute nails as inspiration and dig out my nail polish.

  8. Ahhh! I hate when that happens. No matter how hard I try, I always end up with little dents here and there. But I hardly ever paint my nails...they just feel heavier somehow afterwards.

The red looks good on you!

  10. allyson, thanks!

intense guy, hey, there's always next year.

emmy, yeah, I wait forever and then once I do I wonder, "Why did I wait forever?!"

anonymous, I have Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat. I should've gone for speed rather than strength, huh?

heidi, it always take me ages to paint them. In fact, I just let the polish peel off because I don't bother with them. Not exactly attractive, let me tell you.

ladystyx, ooh, I've been wanting a deep purple for a while, but I've yet to go for it.

sugarlens, dang kid. How many coats are you putting on?!

kay, I like this one a lot. It's just true red. Reminds me of my Crayola crayons.

  11. Yeah, I hate it when I wake up with sheet marks all over my nails!

I'm loving Essie's Lollipop from the Limited Edition Winter Collection. It's just gorgeous! When I wore it for the first time I couldn't stop looking at my nails and saying, "wow, this is pretty!"

That is such a pretty red, but I didn't want to pay more for this collection! hehe
