I heard that they were going to try to ban sweets to make it more healthy environment but after that rumour went around it was squashed by all the employees!

The best was when I first started and a coworker pulled me aside to say, "I think you need to know about so and so" and proceeded to tell me about all the people in our advising team who have had affiars. Great way to start at a new job! : )

It's been a while since I've worked in an office but one of my friends had a birthday party for Jesus last year and after they lit the candle, no one knew who was supposed to blow the candle out. It sounded like a hoot and I'm still waiting to see that on The Office.

I thankfully don't have to work in an office, my toddlers provide enough screaming, ranting, and demanding for 2 bosses! When I did work though, I had one of my co-workers ask me if her boobs looked real - which they did, but they weren't and she said "wanna feel em?" To which I declined and never shared a pen with her or anything else for that matter while I was at that Co.!

ReplyDeleteWeirdest thing at the office? Well, lets see... I'm going to go with the "The boss' car is in the lobby."
He had a old classic VW Beetle .. and sure enough, some pranksters had dissembled it and put it back together in the lobby. It took them 3 days to get it out of there.

ReplyDeleteA list of things that are not weird around my work would be much shorter! ;) I think the crazy stalker girl we had was the strangest. She told my coworker she didn't like me, since I was her team lead and told her what to do. She decided she was going to sleep with Gabe and get revenge on me. Only thing is Gabe is not blind, nor is he stupid! LOL! She forgot about that in her scheme. Needless to say after several threats to kill people as well, she was fired and has a nice restraining order now!
Oh gosh-- I used to work at the craziest office, so this is easy.
