In light of my recent unemployment, this (and next) week's giveaway features office supplies the rest of you can use and enjoy. ReplyDeleteMy commute which normally takes 25 minutes (to go 9 lousy miles) took 45 minutes this Monday morning...
ReplyDeleteFirst behind a trash truck, then a school bus, then some tree trimming on the side of the road for which they closed down the road to one lane with a flag person (probably a lot of flag person jobs out there you know), and then to top it off, a wide load got stuck trying to make a corner to a narrow road jamming up the street for ten minutes.
That "stay at home office" idea is looking good this morning!
I have a phone message pad on my desk - it "features" the backsides of 5 naked guys standing in a line and says, "Guess which ass called this time!" If I win - I'll trade ya.. LOL!

ReplyDeleteYou find the niftiest things. But a question....why do they call it 9-5? I don't know anyone who gets to arrive at 9 and leave at 5. We're forced to be here at 8 and stay 'til 5, and take an hour lunch break in between. I WISH it were 9-5....then I could see the kids off to school and not rush around so much in the morning. I'd forgo (forego?) my lunch to do that.
