Name changes don't change the person. Just ask a woman married. Well, don't do that. Some married women get all sappy and start spouting how they're a changed woman, they are their mate's helper, and they will forever be changed into what they were destined to be.....blah blah blah. I am anti-name changing and anti-marriage today. Just to clear that up.
Man, I HATE when they rename a building or team or what have you. Go figure as I'm the first one to go changing my online nick or blog names at the drop of a hat....
They renamed the Sears Tower? Why???
ReplyDeleteCall me juvenile, but when I hear "Willis" I just see Gary Coleman looking at Todd Bridges saying, "What'chu talkin' 'bout, Willis?"
ReplyDeleteI guess the new owners can call their new to them building whatever they want though.

Willis doesn't sound as good as Sears.
ReplyDeleteI doubt it'll ever be truly known as the Willis Tower. Already too much history there.
