Yes, I buy myself flowers from time to time. Sometimes because I need a pick-me-up and other times because I just want a daisy and see no reason why I shouldn't. Even if I only have $5 on me and want a bouquet for the week.
I don't treat myself as often as I should in any regard, so why not?
And it's "All I have are bills" OR "Bills are all I have."
It's nice to have fresh flowers around the house and/or the office. My husband recently bought some and I smelled them around the house the entire week. They also make good decor when they are all dried up.

I hope your day eventually ended up on a brighter note and closed out in the blissfullness of restorative sleep.
I got home from the office around 10 PM and finally went to bed two hours later. Still tired and blah...but I did go to sleep a tiny bit better.
