National Cervical Cancer Awareness Month

Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women worldwide and can be prevented by knowing the risk factors and getting regularly screened for HPV. Since some doctors do not automatically give you an HPV test, be sure to ask for one during your routine Pap tests. Together, they’ll help detect any cells which can lead to the disease.
