How Was Your Christmas?

I spent Noche Buena (the night of the 24th) eating, singing and dancing with the family. Presents came at midnight. Then A. and I spent Christmas Day together and between walking around Central Park, laughing at fallen ice skaters and making our way to a bar for dinner and the Lakers game, my toes froze over.

Fun, simple and a complete 180 from last year.
I'm still amazed at what a difference time makes...

  1. I went to Central Park yesterday and also laughed @ a) how many peepz were crammed onto the lake trying to skate and b) how none of them could skate and kept falling. It was like dominoes...one person eatz it on the ice and it causes a ripple effect of ten other peepz busting their bumz in front of me and my ceaseless laughter.

  2. LOL, I know! I'm happy to know I'm not the only evil one who makes a sport out of this. The best is when they try to get up but keep falling down til they just sit there helplessly waiting for a good Samaritan to come to their rescue.

    Poor fools.

  4. I'm so happy to hear you had such a beautiful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. There's nothing like wandering around Central Park. Oooh, and ice skating. I'm heading into NYC tomorrow and I only wish it were easier to carry my ice skates with me.

  10. You had a exceptionally special Christmas :)

I hope seeing your team win against the Lakers and laughing at the poor fallen skaters doesn't invoke the wrath of Karma!

I enjoyed my Christmas too - didn't do any singing or dancing - Cappy still sings horribly and his dancing is worse!

  11. Ha, the Cavaliers aren't my team. In fact, I don't follow basketball (except for college bball during March Madness). I was just rooting against A.'s beloved team to be contrary. Otherwise where would the fun be?

  15. There are a TON of skaters in that picture. Crazy.

NBA sucks. You need to tell A that.

  16. Have you still not made your way over to Walgreens? The hand warmers also work great in boots! What would you do without your wuss of a friend to give you tips on dealing with NYC winters? LOL!

I laughed this morning watching Good Morning America. The guy interviewing Ryan Seacrest was asking him how a California guy was going to deal with the temps in NYC on New Year's Eve. Ryan told him about the hot hands and the guy,(from NY), had never heard of them. Ryan was asking him how he had never discovered them. I thought, wait a minute! Dorkys and I had the EXACT conversation last week! LOL!
