Kiwi!

Last night, A. and I had an impromptu animation viewing. I played The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore and Le Moulin and he had me watch Kiwi!, a 2006 sweet and popular short about a little bird trying to fulfill a lifelong dream. How could I have missed this?
Do you have any favorite animation shorts? Pixar always nails it, don't they?

    The Pixar ones are always so good! I think my favorite is the one with the big bird on the telephone wire... Have you seen that one?

      No, I haven't! I think the Pixar one I've seen the most is the snowman trying to get out of his snow globe to flirt with the bikini-clad girl inside another one.

    I think I've seen too many cartoons to truly appreciate their cuteness. At least right now. That goes for regular cartoons, movies or shorts.
