The Holstee Manifesto: Lifecycle Video

Yesterday was such a super long day (work, two doctor's appointments, several errands, and a writing group member's book launch party), that I never got a chance to post this week's Monday Inspiration. Watch the video version of the Holstee Manifesto, which was was inspired by this poster of Truth.

  1. I hope you stopped long enough somewhere along the line to EAT something...

There is no "good" season for it, but this is the worse season to get sick during....

(I know, horrid grammar... sue me!)

  2. Well they were just routine check-ups so no sickness here thank goodness. The sucky part was I had to schedule it after my shift was over and because it's a physical I couldn't eat much til then. Back-to-back appointments that started at 1:30 and didn't free me up until 4 p.m. meant I was a cranky, starving mess by the time I grabbed any old sandwich from a deli.

And I ate it on the train...on my way to yet another activity.

  3. Staying busy is a good thing. Staying positive about life like the video suggests is a GREAT thing. Eating is a wonderful thing.

  4. I was in a horrible mood today and I was in the car and my favorite Christmas song came on, and then I decided to be in a good mood. Just like that. And I blasted the music, danced a little, sang a whole lot, and got tons of weird slash amused looks from people :)
I'm only 17, so what do I know, but in case it helps, my best friend is honestly amazing, she literally thinks "half full" about everything. She is so funny and takes everything in a positive way. Not like she's overly happy or anything, but just the happy person like. If that makes sense? But I just think, how could I not be happy when I'm by her, she's always happy!
I'm going to sleep, sweet dreams :)
